THE MILLION POEMS SHOW
is my attempt to bring the poetry-reading form up to date with Vatican II -- acoustic guitars, sermons shorter and in English -- that kind of thing. Along the way I've enlisted the help of some excellent poetry-friendly musicians: first JJ Appleton, then Franklin Bruno.
The show is on hiatus while we convert from a live audience event to longueur-free web video form. Stay tuned. |

Q. WHERE AND WHEN CAN I SEE IT?
A. Nowadays, YouTube. When we resume taping before a live audience, you'll find us at our original home, Bowery Poetry Club (1st and Bowery).
Aside to Student Council Leaders: We've taken the show on the road, too -- in 2005 we played Ithaca, NY's SOON reading series, and in October 2006 we toured Illinois, making stops in Chicago, Normal, and Knox College in Galesburg.
